The GNH Centre Bhutan is in the process of creating an animation video that will offer an overview of Bhutan’s unique development philosophy of Gross National Happiness that has earned a wide international audience. The GNH animation is part of a Learning that will focus on engaging students and youths meaningfully. The audio-visual graphics is to offer and supplement the GNH online course to provide a user-friendly and interactive session learning experience for all students and youth. This animated video will be the first of its kind to give overall information on Gross National Happiness and it will be screened on the local news channels.

1 POSITION DETAIL

Title: Graphic Designer Services

Duration: 2 months from contract start 

Start Date: 1st July 2021

End Date: 31st August 2021

2 OVERALL GOALS/OBJECTIVES

• To record narration and background music for the video.
• To develop the graphics or 2D animation for the video as scripted by the GNHCB.
• To prepare a draft video and submit it to GNHCB for deliberation.
• Finalize the videos according to the feedback provided by GNHCB.
• Final product to be of high quality and uploadable to various platforms
• To manage all necessary tools and equipment.
• To provide technical support to GNHCB throughout the duration of this agreement..

3 QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor degree in animation/graphic design or other related field.
• A minimum of two or three of graphic design experience along with a knowledge of graphic and design layout.
• Should have good drawing/ art skills.
• Excellent in Graphic design software.
